On our way to Gruyere and Gstaad we stopped for a few hours in Leysin to do a little snow tubing. The runs were quite fun and the steep ones took my breath away. At the bottom there was a tow line that you hooked your tube to that dragged you (as you sat in your tube) back to the top of the runs, so you didn't have to walk back up!

Gstaad is a small tourist town, mostly German speaking. Lots of cute shops and interesting architecture.

Home of the famous cheese, of course. There's also a castle here, which was closed by the time we got there on this particular day so we only got some late day pictures of the outside. We did go back a few days later to tour the castle and visit the fromagerie.
